Deborah Lee Barrett is the Founder & Lead Strategist of Catalyst Empowerment Group and called as steward of Catapult Global, Inc. Deborah’s background includes 25+ years in the nonprofit sector and 30+ years developing various community outreach programs as well as ministries within the U.S. and abroad. She served as former Chaplain of the Atlanta Union Mission’s “My Sister’s House,” and trained volunteers to serve in youth detention centers, transitional homes, senior citizen facilities, to families of the incarcerated and homeless populations.

She also founded Level Ground Youth Empowerment Program in 2008 which provides training, exposure and mentoring to teen girls in underserved communities and in Title 1 schools throughout metropolitan Atlanta. Having had a heart for the nations since age 20, Deborah served in Curacao, Greece, India, Canada, Zambia, Uganda and throughout the Caribbean. She also participated in race-relations convenings in Brazil, South Africa and the United States as conference coordinator. This initiative presented a unique opportunity to collaborate with the Office of the former President Nelson Mandela.
